Indigenous peoples have been documented from an almost fatalistic anthropological perspective for many years. Showing their characteristics from the perspective of the white man who comes to document their living conditions, uses, and customs.

The reality of documentaries about indigenous peoples is that they follow a very defined line of questions and answers that only reinforce ethnic stereotypes.

Rock Chichimeca is the voice of the people of Misión de Chichimeca, located in the State of Guanajuato, Mexico. They have found through the musical genre of Rock the means to preserve the language and keep young people away from drugs, a very significant problem in the community.
